| I call
them the wild bunch, if you could see them run for the apple tree in the
morning you would know why! When I had contacted the shelter regarding the pigs there I was told there were three unspayed adults, Several weeks had passed as the snow had hampered my efforts to build a pen and transport them . When I arrived I was told that one of the pigs had delivered four babies. I promised them in my heart that they would be with each other forever and would never separate them . Flower is the Mom and I have a feeling the other two adults may be her offspring as well. These pigs have never been loved and fear my hand. When I hand feed treats I will gently brush Flowers cheek and she will shriek in fear. She is a very pretty pig with the longest eye lashes and had beautiful babies , she has a smart eye and now a very waggy tail. Soon she will learn the joys of a good belly-rub! |

| When I
rounded the corner to the Shelters barn I could here his little oof's
oof's. Little he was not, good thing I had the company van filled with
straw and tons of blankets . Barney surrendered to the shelter as a ten
year old, folks moving did not have Barney in there plans. . For the first three days I showed Barney the acreage , taking him all over the property to show him his boundaries. He followed so close sometimes that if I stopped he would bump right into me. It was obvious that he was not looking around but simply following. Two times when I stopped he pulled at my pant leg seemingly frustrated. I believe Barney trusted me enough to follow me, but what he had thought was that I was taking him home. Barney is a real character he is well over 250 lbs and will drop for a bellyrub if you touch him gently anywhere. |

| These
are the other two girls that came with Flower and her babies. Maggie my dear friend and Jingle bell one of my faithful companions meet Mouse & Pepper. These girls were at the shelter with Flower and her babies, and all were covered in mange. They are very sweet natured pigs and I wonder if Flower is their mother too. |
