YAYYYYYYY Open for visits by special appointment now!! See our notes below and contact [email protected]
We would love to have you visit the sanctuary to meet the residents and see the great work we do. For the well-being of all the animals at the sanctuary, please read the Pig Rules below before your visit!
1. Pigs need their rest
Hearts on Noses is a sanctuary, not a petting zoo and we are not open for drop-ins. Please make sure your appointment to visit is scheduled and confirmed before you arrive!
Visiting with the pigs is generally scheduled for 11:00 am on Sundays, however sometimes special arrangements can be made.
Give yourself plenty of time to find us so you won't be late. If your plans have changed it is important to call 604-462-0958 or email us as soon as possible so other arrangements can be made.
2. Pigs love treats
If you are going to bring food for the pigs, please bring enough for everyone. For information on appropriate foods and amounts to bring, see our Piggy Food Guide.
3. Pigs are just like you and me
Pigs don't eat rotten, spoiled or mouldy food. Before you bring something to share with the pigs, consider whether you would eat it yourself!
4. Pigs are big spenders
If you like what you see at the sanctuary, we greatly appreciate donations. All donations go directly to animal care including food and veterinary costs. Every little bit helps! As we are a registered charity, tax receipts are available.
We are proud of what we do and appreciate you spreading the word about our great work at the sanctuary. Please share our website with your friends!
