Join our ALLSTAR Team!

Volunteer Application
Hearts on Noses relies on Allstars (volunteers) every day to help run the sanctuary. Please look at the list below to see what interests you. You can donate as much or as little time as you like. Every bit helps!

Sanctuary Crew

Come out to the sanctuary and work along side with the pigs. Duties include assisting with cleaning food and water dishes, paddocks, and houses.
Kissing pigs is optional!

Please come prepared to work, and expect to get dirty! Dress appropriately for the weather and bring rubber boots (we do have a few pairs available to borrow if needed).

Saturday is our big regular work day and also our hand's on training day for new volunteers. We like to start the orientation for our new help at 9:30am so they are ready to join the core team at 10:00am. Members dedicate anywhere from 2, 4, 6 or more hours depending on their availability per week. We understand that Saturdays aren't ideal for everyone, so work days  and times are flexible after the completion of  orientation, completely training, understanding of pigs, how we do things around here and we've had a chance to get to know each other. Please prearrange and confirm your first orientation and training day.

Newsletter Volunteer

The Hearts on Noses newsletter requires pig-related submissions of articles, essays, opinions, and art. It is published annually, so stir up your creativity!
