The piggy food guide

Hearts on Noses Sanctuary feeds approximately 70 lbs of produce per day! We accept fresh fruit and veggies, but please, no kitchen waste - if you wouldn't eat it, our pigs will not eat it!

All pigs must be treated equally when it comes to food and treats, so please do not bring small amounts. As an example, a suggested donation is 25-30 lbs of carrots or apples. It takes about 15 fresh cantaloupes or 12 large watermelons to give every pig a good bite!

Below is a list of appropriate food for pigs. Please note we are a vegan sanctuary, and that includes the pigs!
