Recipes from the Heart: Vancouver Cooks for Hearts on Noses Sanctuary

Let's get cooking, Vancouver!

Hearts on Noses Sanctuary is creating a cookbook! Vancouver’s vegan-friendly restaurants and chefs are showing their support for Hearts on Noses by donating vegan recipes for this fundraiser.

This e-book will be available to download for a small donation in the summer of 2015.

Are you a Vancouver area chef interested in donating a recipe?

This is a great opportunity to show your support for a local animal sanctuary while getting your name out there and showcasing your amazing vegan food!

To submit a recipe, please send the following to Anna ([email protected]) by May 31, 2015:

• 1-3 vegan recipes:
  
  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, dessert, or drink
  • Need not be a recipe you serve in your restaurant but must be created by you (or give proper credit for adaptations)
    
  • 6 or fewer servings preferred
    
  • We will prepare your dish and take a professional-quality photo for the book, or you may provide your own photo
    
• information about you to be included in the book alongside your recipe(s):
  
  • a brief paragraph about you and your restaurant or business - if you wish, tell us why you support Hearts on Noses Sanctuary (max 250 words)
    
  • a brief description of your recipe (max 100 words)
    
  • your logo, website and location
    

We will test all recipe submissions and may need to make a few tweaks to ensure that they are easy to follow for the home cook! If we require any changes, we will consult you first.
